Review: After getting a bit of hope about finding a job in a new career field, I was disappointed when all my job leads from here turned out to be scams. I didn’t get any leads that were realistic, and my email was filled with spammy situations. When speaking about salary here, I was told I would not be able to obtain a certain salary and to basically lower my expectations.On my own, I applied to a job at a company and had a great interview. In the interview, my interviewer offered me a higher salary than what I offered because careersource told me the “highest” possible number I could get, and they turned out to be wrong. I’m glad my future boss is an honest and upstanding person and made sure I wouldn’t be struggling financially in my new position, but this can be a huge risk with unethical interviewers. Word to the wise: ask for more, no matter what others say.Overall, the resume service was helpful, and the people were really nice, but I think I’ll avoid this center for the next time.
